MOHAN:
Prison Without Walls
Obviously, putting the prisoner go through prison life in as normal a situation as possible, gives them a sense of belonging, & makes them understand that prison life is not necessarily punitive, but rehabilitative in a Hindu and Judeochristian compassionate environment. I am not sure whether this will work in other cultures. But such as this should be emulated in western societies for less severe crimes to gather experience.
Kerala Govt is making money out of these working prisoners. That is something. Here in US investors are making money out of incarceration, eg: Corrections Corp (Symbol: CCA)
I like what Gandhi said about all the religions of the world. Respect for all the religions of the world, as we accord to our own religion, thus admits the imperfections of our own religion.
Did you know that Kerala is one state where all major religions of India are represented very well?

You Keralites are one of a kind.
