Let's see, faster bandwidth means faster downloading rate which will probably mean less frustrated users at AOL which will mean less cancellation of subscription which will mean more earnings which will mean your name will change from PoorRich to RichieRich.

Just a thought.

What is AOL's strategy to increase bandwidth (DSL, cable modem)?

Just in the past two days, I've seen several news stories about AOL's new "Terapop". From the description, it seems like AOL has decided to shift its internet connectivity away from MAE-East and set up its own peering arrangements with the major backbone providers.

Long Overdue, but a big step forward.
