MB, I was out surfing today and it looks like the Japanese are going to be going offshore for their next generation chip manufacturing with alliances in Korea, Malaysia, etc. Japan will be providing capital to make this happen. I suspect some these Asian Tigers will be the chip manufactures for the next 5 or so years and they could kill a few chipies in the states. These US firms are not going to be able to compete, plain and simple.

Is this your take on how the industry shakes out?
