don- what do you use now. What are you looking for in scans?
I have found that most people do not use the fundy data to scan.
But if you want to create a simple or complex technical scan- you probably can do it in QP version 2.

Yoyu will have to upgrade at some point if you want to stick with qplus.

The new scanning language is much more powerful and is no more difficult than qp1 for simple scans -- the intimidating scans you may have seen aren't anything you have to write.
The main alternative is TC2000V4, which has gone to preprogrammed scans and a considerably higher price than qp2.
