M.Chen:

You've asked the question pertaining to the only thing I understand so far about MACD; the latter parameter is for an entry point, the latter is for guidance exiting a stock---that's how I understand it.If you go to the header of this thread, Tom Lindt ( who I think is on vacation ) gave a great link for utilizing MACD and those are the only 2 parameters provided for charting a stock using MACD.

My problem is I'm extremely chart/graph challenged and have no clue how to read the damn things and have been divining on my own the meaning of the wavy green lines, the intersection points, the -and+ numbers, etc., etc. Lotta fun but will not practice in real life till I get a license.

My questions: Do the numbers on the graph reflect how many dollars an issue is oversold/overbought?? is it in $$terms or % terms??

Been having moderate success with the Nets from my usual fundamental perspective and feel fortunate that I haven't gotten slaughtered......YET.

Just looking for another rudder....
