TMM Announces Hiring of Dr. Peter Jenkins

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 1998--Total MultiMedia
(TMM) Inc. (Nasdaq:TMMI - news) of Camarillo, Calif., Monday announced
the hiring of Dr. Peter E. Jenkins.

Jenkins will assist TMM in its evaluation of new technology offered to
TMM. Jenkins' accomplishments are numerous; a short list follows.

Jenkins was appointed dean of the College of Engineering and Applied
Science and professor of mechanical engineering at the University of
Colorado at Denver in August 1992. He came to Colorado from the
University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he had served as professor and
chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Department and director of the
Center for Engine Technology.

Prior to his appointment in Nebraska, Jenkins was professor of
mechanical engineering and director of the Turbo Machinery Laboratory at
Texas A&M University.

He is an international authority on diesel and gas engines, basic and
applied thermal sciences and all aspects of turbo machinery. His
industry experience includes executive vice president for the Engine
Corporation of America in Long Beach, Calif., and senior design engineer
in the Marine Seismic Engineering Group of Texas Instruments, Dallas. He
also served as a design engineer for LTV Vought Aeronautics, Dallas.

Jenkins received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering
from the University of Kansas, a master of science degree in mechanical
engineering from Southern Methodist University, and his doctorate from
Purdue University. He also earned a master of business administration
degree from Pepperdine University.

He is a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME),
as well as a member of several honorary and professional organizations,
including the New York Academy of Sciences, Pi Tau Sigma, the Society of
Automotive Engineers (SAE), the National Society of Professional
Engineers (NSPE), the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
(AIAA), the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and
Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society for
Engineering Education (ASEE). He is a registered professional engineer.
