Eric, this is not for you, but Randy Mac seeing he has mentioned my name twice, here and on BoBz. I will endeaver to explain why myself and lot of other people are signing up on SI using handles.

You asked why people use handles that don't identify them. A little background..

When I joined SI in 1996, (oh I know what my profile says, but I used to be someone else in another life) everyone used their real names, including me. After many encounters with the strangest, most frightening people ever, a decision was made to become just, (gypsy) for security reasons.

Do you realize how many cases of stalking, harassement, and even death threats that have resulted through encounters on SI and other chat boards.

As a private investor, I am not obligated to reveal personal information that might endanger me. As a public official of a public company, it is in your best interests to reveal who you are.

I think I have been THW's biggest fan here, but I have been accused of hyping, lying, of being two or three other people. I think it is good to hear from the CEO of THW, but my only concern was the forum you choose to do it through.

I believe it will be good for you to post here occasionally, because real information, instead of rumour and gossip is always better for both the company and investors.

That's all, Randy, just because I use a name like "gypsy" doesn't make me any less real than John Q Public. When there is a need, I have no reservations about revealing my identity.

Randy said "This will inform THW shareholders and help to dispell the rumours put out by short sellers and those that make their money off of untruths."

Randy, do you also intend to dispell rumors and untruths put out by those long on THW? I am sure you are aware of the coverage being give to Totally Hip by Data News or whatever its called now, who have implied they receive privlidged access to information from the company. Does T Hip have a relationship with this group? I'm all for having a company comment online, but posting just to stifle critics puts you in company I'm sure none of us would like to see.

Thank you Eric for doing what you did and also to the CEO of THW. I have no doubt that his voice on occasion will be a welcome addition to this board and his comments will probably make their way all over the net.

I'd like to add another concern which I've had regarding SI and most chat boards in general. Does anybody know what identity theft is? I'm sure most do, but just for the sake of the question, let me explain. It is where a person or persons come by or seek out information about another party for the sole purpose of exploiting the victim's assets for their own nefarious (I doubt its spelled correctly) reasons. Call me paranoid, but I prefer to err on the side of caution.

I could also pass myself off as someone else and no one would be the wiser. Does that make me more credible?

As I said, I welcome Randy's comments as he feels the need to do so.

And thanks again to you also, Eric for taking the time to do a follow-up.

MSB

P.S. I think it is worth remembering that one does not need (unless things have changed) to be a member to view SI. One only needs to be a member to post messages. I hope the implications are obvious.
