Congrats Oscar . I hope the coincidence in the timing of this news so soon after he joined us here on terra firma. is a good sign but I am really starting to see thru this.

I do have a problem with this shipping company first in negotiations with MIDL in 1997 and then CNHH and now MIDL again.

Soemthing is rotten .........

Oscar that is great news!!! Congratulations ... This newest turn could make it interesting over the course of the next few weeks. The Midland board is moving along very well to get this mess straightened out. Just have to give it time to let it do its thing.

Hopefully Mark will be back from overseas this week.

A Reverent Day

It was the Lord's year of nineteen ninety-eight
Jove sent forth a sparrow from heaven's gate.
On August seventh not in the early morn,
with evening coming a baby boy was born.

The precious outcome of an intimate deed,
concluding the cycle of egg and seed.
As radiance embraced the still twilight,
life was fathered from a mother's night.

Unfolds a spirit of this being new,
inspiring is this majestic view.
Placing babe upon his mother's lap,
the visible bond meets with mishap.

Poising aloft this spectacular domain,
awareness of life was generated by pain.
Afflictive first breath of a newborn child,
within creators' hearts a memory was filed.

Fairness bestowed unlike no other,
tearfully in need of his mother.
Intense pain is a pleasure to others,
glorious bond of babes to mothers.

An enhancing sight as the heart warms,
sacred the picture within mother's arms.
Spontaneous intimacy is felt in the soul,
a father's love makes this birth whole.

Milk taken from mom's breast of wonder,
feeding instinctively with toes curled under.
Mirroring his father in his youth, there he lay,
the birth of Daniel Holt was a reverent day.

Dear Oscar:

I am thrilled and happy for you. God is in control of all Midland and the miracle of birth. I have an important question:

HOW IS MOM and any other children doing?

Love,

Marshall

(5 children ourself. Now ages 17-25)
