E. One looks at one's pocketbook to see if the patterns have changed. :))....also Y.Auger has a e-mail address at his site. Being the author of said XAU/Cycle chart he might have some insights into the charts. Yes.

Hi, enigma...we still on speaking terms, right(g)...here's a serious answer to your XAU and cycle questions.

The "semi-circles" do denote time, as you noted. However
the Hersch method practicioners, of which I'm an amateur,
absolutely the most accurate diagnostic XAU tool I know about,
& certainly what Yauger tries t'emulate, but doesn't quite get it...
...
there is a stretching and shrinking of time cycles. Cycles definitely end as shown by price action. Price determines when the semi-circles are actually completed. Cycles are not just denoted by pages turning on a calendar.

Hersch method teaches how cycles shrink and elongate.
They are very accurate.

Yauger tries,
and Hersch does it.

Hope this helped.

E. If your so inclined you might want to go to techstocks.com and review my postings on the XAU and cycles at that site. The site pulls up the last 50 postings but one can continue backwards to "at least" 1 1/2 years (that as far as I have gone back) for additional postings. You MIGHT find the answer your looking for.
