Hi bob,
I believe the critical time for Turner Valley will be this fall (october-november) as this is when the exploration pot at companies like Shell and Esso get another $200 million or so poured into them. If we don't see a major exploration/drilling program announced shortly thereafter, it isn't going to happen. Foothills wells (after $2-5 million 3-D seismic surveys) cost $2.5 to 5 million each and that pretty well freezes out the small players unless things get so hot that a major like Shell or Esso or a healthy intermediate sized company has to farm in. The land aspect doesn't matter as it is all tied up for now anyways, and as we all know, BEA, STF and RLN have huge acreage positions tied up. Will the juniors get frozen out?
Regards,
