djane, I agree, this is Chamber's propaganda. If he can generate Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) it will scare investors and customers to Cisco. Mergers CAN go well, as you said. Ascend-Cascade has been a gem. So will Bay-Nortel. It all depends on whether management has the guts to stop the rivalries. David House does, and will. He certainly did at Bay. IMHO wj
