Mr.1, Mr. S Bradley Martin had 144 shares at GIFS, thru diligence, and taking into consideration Messrs. tonto, Todd and Martin have been non-responsive to my questions regarding Mr. Martin's 144 shares, the post below is close to what I have been able to find regarding the GIFS 144 issue;207.183.153.201 ------------------ To: Joel Oseran (3696 ) From: Justaguy Friday, Apr 11 1997 11:17AM ET Reply # of 7749 Joel I can understand your concern, reliable I dont know but the story has always been the same; Justa IMHO $ me it goes like this- The guys that were left behind 4 whatever reason?? when GIFS became GIFS in some reverse deal were very mad about that. And have been shorting the stock ever sense. That has been the story B4 Jeff was ever here. What I did not understand was how the short was being done ie. these 144's. I thought man these guys musta have some real $$ to be doing this... But I later came to understand it this way... The short was backed (if U will) by thses 144's that are in dispute now. I beleive the shorters figed they would use these to cover with. Well now justa supose the shorters dont get the 144's thru we'er talking loss of major cash here. So to see this story pop up is not a suprise to me."------- -------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- "The short was backed (if U will) by thses 144's that are in dispute now. Backing-up my conclusion is a familiar name from the OVIS & RMIL threads; --------------- exchange2000.com To: Jaime J. Pulaski (3760 ) From: michael d kugler Friday, Apr 11 1997 7:03PM ET Reply # of 7749 Jaime, I have mostly lurked on this thread. I posted a response to the gentleman looking to borrow shares. He never E-Mailed me. I also invited him to explain his reason for wanting to borrow shares. He didn't. I think all of you are correct in trying to take your shares off the table. IMHO, the only reason someone would resort to coming on this thread to solicit shares is that the shares he has put up to cover a short are not going to be valid. Therefore he needs some other shares. Yet he seems confident about his nine month time frame. Most brokerages, especially Merrill Lynch, are unlikely to let an individual have a naked short position in a penny stock. They may give him some aditional time to round up the shares, but eventually may force him to cover if no shares can be found. They won't give him nine months, however. I believe he would have a matter of a few weeks grace at most." ---------- ---------------------------------------------------- ---------"IMHO, the only reason someone would resort to coming on this thread to solicit shares is that the shares he has put up to cover a short are not going to be valid."------------------- ----------------------------------------------------- So, in essence, we have a Mr. S Bradley Martin holding 144 GIFS shares, some are of the school of thought that the GIFS short was backed with these 144's. Now, the shorts are in need of shares to back their short position in GIFS. Mr. Kugler explained above his reasoning as to why one would be "soliciting shares", the 144's appear invalid; ------------------------------------------------------ To: tonto (3793 ) From: greg martz Saturday, Apr 12 1997 12:36PM ET Reply # of 7749 Mr. Pauly, If you would could you please clear up some issues before we look at minor points like mispelling your name. 1)How many shares did you or do you own? Shouldn't have a problem answering since in previous posts you had no problem telling people when you picked up large block and the amount and price you paid. 2)Are you still invested in GIFS? Main reason is because it was stated that you threatened a lawsuit on over $70,000 lost in the company. 3)Did you threaten a lawsuit? If so did you prepare that list of 9 points discrediting GIFS that you were going to use in the suit? 4)How did you know about the content of the documents stolen from Mohamed? Was this just a coincidence? If not did you report to the police who had told you this information so they could follow up on the investigation of the original crime? I would assume this is something you would want to do as an honest person and possibly an investor in GIFS. 5)Also if you have no more interest in GIFS why would you come back on after all these months and ask where the BDO office was located? They certainly wouldn't give you any information that the main office would give you. Please respond back, I think these are much more important points regarding the post from Gayle. Mispellings and possible misstatings of you matching Jeff in buying up the float are not that critical to the main issue at hand here. If you want to discuss things with people here then you should be willing to answer these questions and be part of the discussion. Don't just throw stuff out there at 3am in the morning when most people are not logged on and say you guys discuss it I'll throw more out later. I am submitting this now but be forwarned I do not have time to check for mispellings. Greg ------------------------------------------------------ Mr. tonto must be complimented on his wonderful diligence that helped to reveal the crimes of Mr. Zayed. Yet, on 4/3/97 Mr. tonto, INVESTOR, began posting on the Motley Fool message board;boards.fool.com boards.fool.com Another poster, who's posts have been deleted from that message board but are contained in court documents ,was also posting on that message board. That individual is a rather notorious shortseller. No other claim is being made here other than that, but the observation is being made that Mr. Asensio had a strong-sell / shortsell recommendation on SOLV. OVIS , like GIFS, was a short's target before Mr. Morgan was the CEO. It was a terminal short candidate. When OVIS began going north is when RMIL shareholders began seeing these faces familiar to the GIFS fiasco. Attempting to terminally short RMIL has been the agenda to those short RMIL, i.e.; Mr. Mork. Looking closely at GIFS will answer many questions as to why RMIL is the target of certain individuals, in my humble opinion. Good Evening RB
