Lisa, Thanks for reminding us of CHIPSCHART. Its really a good quick overview of the market. I carefully looked over the chart for the major indexes (DOW, S$P500,TRANSPORTS, UTILITIES,NAZ, RUSSEL2000). As many are aware the RUT's 50 DMA has already crossed over the 200 DMA to the downside, and the TRANSPORTS will do that very soon, if not this week. Since I have really not been trading that long, can anyone tell me when was the last time that the 50DMA intersected the 200DMA for the above indexes. I also noticed that all of the above indexes just last week set lower lows except for the NAZ. If we took out the NAZ BIG FIVE (MSFT,INTC,CSCO,WCOM,DELL) would the NAZ chart look more like the RUSSEL2000, since the NAZ is heavily weighted in those stocks. coolhistory.com good nite all
