Paul, <I bought LapLink to do that function.> I use to use LapLink but relative to ZIP it is painfully slow. Actually, even before I had an internal ZIP for my notebook, I had an external one because I found it more much more convenient. Of course now with the internal one I don't have to worry about cables or carrying an extra drive. I know one thing we can definitely agree on is that having a notebook is very very convenient.....and a lot of fun too <ggg>. FF
