"No one ever gets sued for hyping from the long side, but short side posters run that risk. Unless you have very deep pockets and a legal staff, you should post carefully when promoting the short side. Don't post anything that would give a lawyer a toe hold."

But I was refering to the rumor as a SCAM and to the trading activity of the MM who are INMHO are manipulating the prices and sales activity.
The company itself may be legit., but their current price was driven up on DJ HYPE of a BUY_OUT rumor that is circulating among brokers, who in turn and buying on rumors for their clients.
