Dusty research the filings and so forth ... It is all there. If you come to my site you will have a LOT of reading to do ... All these belief and questions can be answered by reading the filings. All 13 and the news releases. In June 1997 Marisk sold off everything ... As far as walking away what is to stop one of the deals on the back burner seeing that release making Midland a better offer? GB

Dusty, If I may, it would be interesting to know those details, but while I may be wrong, I suspect it may have had something to do with a better offer. These guys are "whoever's dog who'll feed em", meaning that I wouldn't put it past either party to dump the other one if a better deal came along. I would be real surprised if there was much loyalty involved here, on either side. Thats why I am glad they want to close the deal so soon. As we have learned, it takes shareholder approval to finalize an acquisition and/or reverse merger, so I will be disappointed if we do not see a call for a meeting or proxy vote shortly after the 18th. I'm watching and waiting. :-) Binder
