You may be on to something there, but one would hope the true motive would be far too transparent. Free speech is guaranteed in the US Bill of Rights (for now), though it has been limited in various ways over the years.

One solution would be to allocate the extension ".sex" for pornographers only. Sort of like an Internet red-light district, with fines for pandering outside this domain. Nonetheless, the definition of pornography still remains something of a difficulty.

The existing slander laws should work on the Internet with only minor adjustment.
