Absolutely, and I apologize if I have seemed disrespectful of anyone's ideas.

Jeffrey,

You said to Katherine Derbyshire, " Katherine, your posts and your publication are of great value to any of us willing to weather the volatility of investing in this industry. The point is, there is equal value in the posts of others who might not share your outlook. Those posts should receive the same respect you apparently demand of yours.

Actually, I couldn't disagree more.

1. Most SI posters that I've read seem to offer biased information based upon their personal beliefs, holdings and misunderstandings. I would include myself in that group much of the time.

2. Katherine is more knowledgeable about the Semi Equipment sector and Semi manufacturing processes than most posters on these threads.

3. Katherine has advised that she has no Semi Equipment holdings in order to avoid a conflict of interest (re role with SemiConductorOnline.

I believe that the information she provides is always useful, unbiased, balanced and trustworthy.

Thus, IMO, her posts warrant more respect than I'd give to most posters at SI.

FWIW,
Ian.
