1] don't click on ads Untrue. 2] don't linger and buy most of the time (less than 1% on average) True for all advertising If I responded all the time, each day I'd be ordering 25 hamburgers, buying 6 new cars, and from CNBC alone I'd be making contributions every hour to the Kauffman Fund... 3] learn about most sites either through web searches, content links from other sites, and word of mouth. Gee, web searches. Now there's an objective, commercial-free zone! Content links is pretty vague. Amazon has 100,000 commissioned content links. Are the paid links in Yahoo search content links? They are certainly linked to book content.
