RACOM has a better solution. The Contactless Smart Card. Most all computer consoles should have the ability to "recognize" and "reload" them in the near future. Now, think of a Contactless Smart Card with the ability to meter microtransactions...

Hey, I think this floppy interface is an elegant solution if it's dependable. One question would be price. I don't know how much development went into the magnetic reader/writer but it might have been expensive and/or the transducer might be pricey.

I don't see why the Wave chip couldn't use this interface also.

My hat's off to the developers.
