Hi Christine,

My suggestion was that citizens be required to hold a job before they are allowed to vote. I think this is achievable for anyone who wants, through their elected representatives, to spend tax dollars. Let them earn it, then they can have a say in how it's spent. I have in mind a broad definition of "employment" which would not exclude stay-at-home mothers, retirees, etc. I would also include a grandfather clause so as not to disenfranchise any current voters, but which would qualify voters born after a certain date.
