In his letter to shareholders he has said a number of time
that he wants to invest in companies with
management he likes and admires. Sometimes he says
a management honest and competent. Sometimes managers
who act as owners or managers who work for the pleasure
to hit home run ... I think it is the most important
point for the qualitative side of his judgement.

Mike: I think David Dreman does an extraordinary job of explaining the primary differences between Buffet and other intelligent analysts.
Remember what he writes about the linear thought process that normal humans are limited by, whereas Buffet probably transcends these limitations? Dreman's latest book is a treasure.

John
