>> I thought only Craig knew him that well to be so sure of these details. <<

Why don't you enlighten us all on how well I know Mr. Alpert? You seem to think you know.

>> Or may be he was found to have been working with shorts on the internet to spread misinformation about companies to manipulate their stocks <<

Your utter lack of deductive reasoning rivals that of tbonenyc. It's obvious that you are insinuating that I had some kind of improper relationship with Mr. Alpert. Perhaps you think I had advance knowledge of the Barron's article last fall and I sold short ahead of it being published?

Ask yourself this Mr. Sarwar. If I was in cahoots with Mr. Alpert and I was illegally shorting Osciom with insider information, do you think I would be stupid enough to post on this thread under my own name?

Wouldn't it be smarter to short it quietly so I could be on my merry way, collecting my cash without arousing suspicion? Why would I draw so much attention to myself if I was illegally trading Osicom stock?

Illogical inferences such as yours demonstrate to me how people are still foolish enough to hold this stock.

Regards

CC

Afaq, you might want to go back and reread that. 203(h) was amended to say "that if the Commission finds that any person registered with the Commission as an investment adviser is prohibited from registering as an investment adviser under section 203A" and section 203A is basically a use it or lose it clause, the way that I read it. It's really inconsequential anyway, as it has nothing to do with Osicom.
