Bill here is something I should have caught earlier:

Notice the comment on strong volume last week and then notice that we broke thru the neckline ON STRONG VOLUME!

Bill: explanation of REITs and the Russell:
most REITs are microcap or smallcap- so they fit in the Russell universe of stocks. The Russell is dominated by REITs, microcap banks, small regional utilities, small services and a few techs. I don't have the #s but I suspect the average dividend yield of the russell index is much higher than the S&P or Dow. The russell stocks are quite a bit cheaper now adjusted for interest rates than they were ten years ago. REITs are still going down...portends a glut in industrial real estate?
