I would tend to agree with that Malcolm. Reverse splits are generally not good. I think in many cases companies doing reverses are trying to get share prices to more respectable levels. This already skews the performance history when thinking about companies that do this, because in those cases I believe it is occasioned by weakness in share price to begin with.

It would be surprising for CSHK to be doing a reverse split at this point because there are not apparently that many shares outstanding. Although there seems to be the possibility for many more to be issued, and plenty of shares that may become unrestricted, I would be surprised by a reverse split. There are other companies trading at very low prices like 2&cent or 3&cent, where there are hundreds of millions outstanding, where a reverse would not be at all surprising.
