From news.com: On the cusp of the launch of Apple Computer's new iMac computer, a new online publication from the publishers of Macworld is scheduled to launch as well.

I was disappointed with the announcement that MacWeek was closing and even more so with Apple's spokesperson's comments that they were glad. How bad can having a weekly devoted to the Mac really be? Now there's nothing.

<<It's actually a lot easier, much of it do to the selection of a preferred ISP (Earthlink). There are other reasons as well.>>

Have you used an iMac? If so, then specifically what unique internet features does it offer?

According to the Macintouch Review it has the same Internet Setup Assistant(ISA) that other Macs have. I know the ISA that came with OS8 allowed you to choose between Netcom and Concentric. I'm sure the selection as Earthlink as the only preferred choice for ISP has more to do with a healthy royalty payment, and little to do with ease of use.
