re msft. i know people who have become millionaires from msft yet they have sold off their stock i can't answer why i just know this is fact.

enigma....Bill gates is not an investor only w/ MSFT....out of his annual sales of about 1Mil...Bill Gates makes investments....so far mainly in small Biotechs....10 mil at a time...so far private co's...I believe a couple are now public.... He also buys out properties...his summer residence on Hood Canal, where he built an onclave at Alderbrook...6 acres....he walled it, and built multiple residences there for family....he had a war with the Covenants of the Alderbrook holders....So he has backed a religious group (financed them) to buy out Alderbrook...which has been done....that is a whole complex....hotel, waterfront, restaurant....etc....The religious group will hold meetings there a few times a year.......Well our Tax rolls in my county are Irate...with the removal of this property tax base from the county....all for the convenience of MR Bill Gates...karen He also donates to UW....Chair in Technology....etc....karen
