On Aug.18 Dell will be reporting Q2 earnings not Q3 and .46 cents is the First Call consensus estimate.Popular opinion is that Dell will beat the consensus, by how much is anybody's guess. 53% increase it could be I am sure you have checked the numbers.

T36, I think you sent the posting to the wrong person.

<<as you will see my girlfriend missed that it is an increase from last years same qrt.. this is directly typed from ibd..the pc maker is expected to report 3rd qrt profit of 46 cents on aug 18th..that would be a 53% increase from a year earlier..my girlfriend read it to me over the weekend..and yesterday i picked up the paper and this is what is said... hope this helps sue>>
