Brad, I've lost my quotes for Canadian stocks , US preferred and NASDAQ listed convertibles. Is this related to the move?

Brad:

While reading, I received the following:

<<This server is too busy right now. Your request would have exceeded the maximum number of simultaneous connections set by the operator. Please try again in 30 seconds. >>

Since this is the first time I have seen this message on SI, I am wondering if this a by-product of Seattle? Not a permanent one I hope. Maybe just a product of success.

Troy

Brad,

A few questions:

1). I've noticed that when I edit a message after pressing "Submit Response", the formatting characters (e.g., for italics) are removed. I'm using IE 3.02. Is this a known behavior?

2). Can my wife post using my account? Or must she have her own account? Even if not, can we both be logged on at the same time (so she can share my bookmarks)?

Thanks!

Ken

Jeff and Brad, Your ears should be burning!

I am one of the many NetCom users who were locked out out of SI.

Five phone calls to Go2Net produced no (read zip) help in answering the questions: Is Silicon Investor up? Was the move successful?. Where was the help line for people having problems connecting to SI? I was phoning NetCom too; they at least looked at the problem, and said the cause could be at either Go2Net or NetCom, and since SI was the one that had changed and even Email to them was returned, well SI was the prime suspect.

The Motley Fool staff helped out. Someone there tried accessing SI using AOL, and it worked. I then had something to take back to NetCom, and got them to take the problem.
