Heyy BigB,
It has been my experience that MMs primarily cover short positions around their Muster day, when they must balance their book. Todays
action to me is of no surprise, we all know that until any further news comes out we will see ups/downs. Nothing sustainable in terms of a base, beyond what has been developed to date. all my best,, DP

I'm new at this business but was wondering what was happening this AM. There were a lot of trades at ask and almost no rise in the ask. Was this because a lot of day traders came in thinking it would go up fast and the MMs not wanting it to because of not having the shares to trade and not wanting to short this stock kept the ask down until the discouraged day traders decided to get off at a lower price? Do the MMs make more this way than if if they let the few shares they have go at a higher price?
