Aw Jeeze, WayneW - does it need to be explained to you that that introduction to Fixer's AGM report is Fixerhumour? You're not supposed to accept it as gospel, you're supposed to laugh. Now maybe I have some sort of unnatural advantage here, having known Fixer from the Winspear thread, but I think not - imho any normal person would immediately recognise that as an attempt at humour. I thought it was a pretty good one, too - a snappy start to a good report. Did you have a difficult time with your toilet training? Were you perhaps raised by wild Bible Thumpers? Civilised peoples recognise a concept known as Poetic License, which could in part be described as the latitude permitted to exaggerate or invent in order to point out the ever-present absurdities with which we are surrounded, or as in Fixer's case here, just to grab the attention of the audience so that they are encouraged to actually read the body of his report, where he makes some good and valid points. This post is well above the thread average in educational quality, imho; 206.253.196.27 As for "I am not threatening anybody." - well, technically true, but you just suggested that Antares threaten Fixer as well as john. When you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.
