Hottest July on record as in the records kept by men. Hottest Month worldwide on record.
Icecaps measured last week apparently turning to mush. 25 years prematurely, by the estimates put out late 80s and 1990-91.

This is all potentially more serious than a heart attack, which as we know is correctible by surgery.

Sitting and watching with great wonder. Hope I am not reading any of this correctly, for the benefit of others, that is. The sooner Jesus gets here, the better, and I don't care what I have to go through getting to that point. But that probably is not the general consensus at this point.

Time to set priorities in order, apparently. As long as everyone can stuff their face all day long they will all be happy and accept the world in any vile and loathesome condition. Hungrier people may see more clearly, but I don't know if they will change.

As long as the parents of Jon Benet, filthy rich and protected by satan himself, happily party as the issue continues to be buried, and no one really gives a fig about it, well, I would expect more bad weather at the least. I think we're getting trashed like ancient Isreal. The blessing seems to be going quickly. But God will protect those praying for it I am certain.

I'm not optimistic about the whole thing you know. But in the here and now enough to check junk bond funds.

:)

Thought of this one also when I read your post. We were talking about God's choosing us in our worship Sunday:

26Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many
were of noble birth.
27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things--and the things that are not--to nullify the things that are,
29so that no one may boast before him.
30It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption.
31Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." [4]
