Steve, Compaq is shipping some models with ZIPs. See for yourself
compaq.com

What if you could start with the perfect-sized hard drive to store
the information you use most? Then add the exact memory you
need to run your most demanding applications. How about a
DVD-Rom drive, or a color multimedia monitor? Or even putting in
the latest accessories you need like an Iomega Zip drive or a
Network Interface Card?

compaq.com

this $1199 Compaq has ZIP built in
compaq.com

IBM offers ZIP as well.
The above examples are not exhaustive.

Maybe you can provide some links showing Compaq's LS-120 offerings.

Steve, according to a poster on one of the Iomega threads, Dell and
Compaq feature ZIP in their TV ads.
