Netscape Selects AdForce As Its Centralized Ad Serving Technology

CUPERTINO, Calif., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- AdForce today announced that the AdForce centralized ad management solution has been chosen by Netscape Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: NSCP) to provide centralized ad delivery services for Netcenter, Netscape's industry leading Internet portal.
Netscape's Netcenter (home.netscape.com) is one of the most heavily trafficked sites on the Internet. The site is the default home page for users of Netscape's popular Internet client software.
Netscape is using AdForce to serve ads on select Netcenter pages, including those with dynamically generated content. "We were attracted to AdForce because of its advanced inventory management and reporting capabilities, as well as robust technology," said Jerrell Jimerson, vice president of consumer programming for the Netcenter Division at Netscape.
