This may be a dumb question but, if the share price opens at say around $3.00 - $4.00 like we are suspecting, could or would the number of shares that we own be consolidated such as in a reverse split.

Example: I own 5000 shares purchased at 1.00 each and the share price opens at $3.00 now the number of shares I own is 5000/3.

or will I still own 5000 priced at $3.00 - $4.00.

I prefer the latter situation.

Please help.
