Dusty as I understand it the shares were sold into the open market. But in the process of turning the shares (DF certs) into the DTC the stop transfers were put in place. Now somebody bought those shares maybe you or I. The brokerage house needs to complete the the transaction and they can't becuase the stop transfers are is place. So the stock is out there but not lost. Who has to give it back??? DF or ML that's why I beleive people are saying that the stock is not lost is for the above reason that somebody has to give it back. I'm hoping that ML will use their EO insurance and want to be done with it...
