I talked with the company today. The New civil war and lack of buyers seems to be taking a toll on this stock. We will have to wait till a new ruling group is put in place and the UN gives there blessing. It only seems to take a few hundred shares on the sell side to really drop the price.
On the bright side, the minerals are still there. So many groups of Congonese have a interest in this company, the risk of loosing it is very low. All the right people and money seem to be in place, we just need the stability and leadership in government.
It seems to be a matter of time that Kabila will be out. He turned out to be just as bad as the last one. Maybe a bullet will get it over with quick.
Someday this country will get it's act together. There is way to much money in the ground to go any other way.
Company still states that they are funded well and is still talking on a regular basis with the majors that see the prospects of ILP.
