We partnered with C-Cube and Kingmax to provide Gateway a truly superior, high performance, low cost DVD solution. Our VxP295 Zoomed Video PCMCIA controller and C-Cube's ZIVA MPEG II decoder have been combined with the C-Cube Navigator on a superior Kingmax's PCMCIA substrate to make DVD movie playback on Notebooks possible. In addition to crisp playback with no artifacts, the DVD upgrade fully meets requirements from Hollywood for copyright and Region Code protection, for DOLBY sound and Parental Control of title content.
