Herr Oberleutnant Engelkopf, Have you missed all the shortage chatter? It is a real shortage in the market. In Intel warehouses ? but since they all come from the same place an Aug 24 volume release might be the reason for the shortage due to die diversion to celerons of the new stripe. I wait to see if they will parasitise the P-II sales. If they are fast and have cache why are they nopt as good as a P-II of the same speed? What is taken from them?, the 100 FSB? will mendocino do that? WIll it go 450 Mhz? Can you make it go 450 with a little tape on the connector? It could be a huge drop in ASP for Intel. It could also kill a lot of AMD sales, esp if very cheap. Bill
