Paul - I heartily agree with your opinion about the analysts trip.
It has to be the next logical step in this process.
One thing that disturbs me is the seemingly excessive analysis of the
price movement between 4 5/8 and 5. I just can't relegate any important
significance to these small moves regarding the overall price picture,
especially in view of NASDAQ MM antics. It
feels like over-interpretation.
Am I missing something?

Forgot to add to my previous post; the company could announce and discuss briefly their plans for an analysts trip to the NI plant in this week's conference call. If they are as close to continuous production as I think they are, they probably can now schedule the trip. In the last call (June 30), Lev said they wanted to hold this trip in the next 4-6 weeks. Well, that time period has now almost elapsed, so we should hear about a trip.

Still no trip scheduled.

I see there has been a lot of discussion of the trading last week. Well, given the poor overall market last week, the peculiar spread and small blocks going at the day lows, and the rebound back to 5 today, I suspect we saw some margin forced selling.

The Nasdaq is up 65 over the last two days and the DJIA up close to 300. VLNC closes down another 5+ percent. Not likely margin pressure, from other stocks that is.

What is the spin today?
