Dear Mr. BMart: your concerns about IWWC are unfounded. While the stock is hardly setting the world on fire, there is no pump and dump there, with only a few press releases in the past year. To determine whether they had any association with the Indian Wells Investment Company (based near Palm Springs as I recall), I called Doug Montgomery, IWWC's CFO. He stated that "there is no association" with it or any other investment company. They are based in Sonoma Co. in N. Cal. and have never heard of it. Regarding Mr. Lamber's (whoever he is) allegation that there are no contracts with Indian tribes, his response was "that's baloney". He noted that the Chairman and CEO of IWWC, Jim Stevens, is the former president of Coca Cola, and would never stand for any impropriety associated with his name, although, I believe, Doug used the term "funny business". Regarding your comment that "one should be very sceptical about the promotion of IWWC", I'm hard put to figure out what you're talking about, since other than a couple of posts by me a while ago (and I have no association other than as a shareholder that bought stock in the market) that have repeated what's on the IWWC website, I have seen no promotion at all. And other than a few references to tepee shaped bottles by some fun-loving types (Indian Wells' bottles are pretty standard stuff) there havn't been any bashers either -- except you. Are you shorting this stock? I don't care, just a rhetorical question, as those that I know who are long do not care if at this point the shares are shorted, as they, as I, have confidence in the company's long term fundamentals. The company (IWWC) "is not a scam" according to Doug Montgomery. He stated that they have a distribution contract in Arizona with QV Distribution, for spring water they are trucking in for co-bottling until their own bottling facilities are built early next year via LLPs with Indian Tribes. They have a substantial inventory of already bottled water (6,000 cases of 20 oz bottles, 3639 cases of .5 liter bottles, and 2000 cases of 1 liter bottles). He mentioned Abco Foods Desert Markets and the Fleming Companies' stores as some that are stocking the water in AZ. Doug invited anyone that has questions about IWWC to its website, www.indianwells.net, and to use the e-mail response there to send in questions. Also, he suggested that anyone wanting to talk to someone at the company call toll-free, 877-INDIANWELLS. He would especially welcome orders (truckloads only). Do your own DD, don't invest (or short) based on anything you read on SI, and don't repeat rumors about things you don't know about. It tarnishes your credibility as you pursue more important targets. Little IWWC will rise or fall on its own merits. I went and met the principals, and am satisfied. Do the same. I have little else to say on the subject unless the company starts to show something, or there are more rumors around with no substance. Also, for the record, let me state unequivacably that I am not anybody else but Micky, investor (my tomato seeds have paid off very well) , in any of the stocks that I comment on, except when I am inquiring because of considering an investment, or can't help myself when I see an obvious scam or pump and dump. You're embroiled in battles and in search of conspiracies. They aren't mine, and I plan to avoid them in the future (although I do read your posts as they are quite interesting, and at least, given the topics you choose, civil). Let's both just watch IWWC for a while, and see what happens. Thanks for your concern.
