Who ever said the SEC is doing nothing. The SEC did do something. They halted trading. Effectively the 10 day halt has become a permanent/semi-permanent halt. I expect that after the shareholders pay to have the audit completed they will not get a sign off (by the auditors) unless they correct all of the mis-statements from the previous filings. The SEC may think that even though the company made these mis-statements that the company as a whole is immaterial, and that they can use their resources towards fighting scams elsewhere. One thing is for certain the SEC is understaffed.

The SEC said you couldn't beleive anything the company said. The statute of limitations has not run out. They could file an action against the company/officers tommorrow.
