I see either one of two things happening in the near future:

1) The Wednesday EIA report will show that total world oil prices, US oil prices, and OPEC oil prices have tracked still higher which hopefully will put an end to the phoney, baloney oil glut mythology.

2) The Wednesday EIA report will show that total world oil prices, US oil prices, and OPEC oil prices have given back the 90 cents/barrel they gained in July, which would indicate that OPEC has underplayed its hand.

In case 1), I imagine there would be some fast scrambling in the oil futures. In case 2), its WAKE UP CALL for OPEC.

Either way, Its safe to assume stock prices in the oil service sector would be moving higher.

Best of luck,

Steve
