Jim K. & ALL, I think Patterson's problem is that he has made a conclusion about DELL, and in his heart, he believes it to be absolutely true. The unfortunate thing is that he is unable to give specific and accurate information as to why this is the case. He gives information that he believes supports his conclusion, but it is either inaccurate, too general, or both. Generally speaking about stocks in the world....any stock that has done what DELL has done, must be overvalued in Jim's mind. Forget analysis of the company, itself. Looking at the historical standards about stocks, it is impossible for DELL to keep the ball rolling in Jim's mind. It's just not possible, and he'll argue that point 'til we're all blue in the face, citing all sorts of reasons, few of which have anything to do with the company itself. If they do pertain to the company, it's either a half-truth or just plain wrong. You know this as well as I, and perhaps the real reason for this post is for those who are gullable enough to assume that just because Jim P. posts a lot on this thread, he must be an authority on DELL. Nothing could be further from the truth. Patterson may know about stocks (and I'm not asserting that he does or doesn't), but he certainly is out of his depth on this specific stock. Again, no to beat a dead horse, since you know all too well. This is for the benefit of those who may not. Regards, LoD (Jim P., if you read this, please do not respond. I have no desire to waste any more space on the thread uselessly arguing with you. You have no desire to understand that it is possible for a stock to break the norm.)
