jhg, that's why I qualified it with "if you believe" in the term "overbought" can exist. I'm simply looking at when the stock rolled-over at 118 after the split (a.k.a. hard-fast information)didn't happen at the meeting.

The hard-fast information that is required on August 18 is either (from least to best):

1) decent earnings and a split.

2) very strong earnings/no split

or

3) very strong earnings and a split.

If one of these cases does not apply, I think DELL will again be "overbought" at any price above current, and will fall. I don't expect this to be the case, at all.

Ratherm I think that one will occur, and that will reinforce the price and drive it to new levels. (Kind of the way the market works, right?)

Regards,

LoD
