I noticed several times that the bid was dropped to
pick up a market sell and bring right up again.
I believe the drop and the recovery after 2:00 had a lot to
do with mm behavior.
Howver I do not have level 2 so it is hard for me to be sure.
BTW EDII was the stock that I noticed the most mm
manipulation - going up and down. Most posters just don't
comment on mm upward tricks to lure people in. JMO.
I will add, not everyone can stomach the waiting game.

<<Why is it that every time a stock tanks, it's because the MM's
want to load up?>>

That's not the reason EVERY time. Don't forget that sometimes it's because "MM's are panicking!", other times it's because "MM's have no shares left!", and often it's because "MM's are desperate!"

My education has been lacking, too, and it's only thanks to SI that I now know that MM's are responsible for all downward stock movements and that the only way to beat the MM's at their own game is to keep buying more as the price falls.

If my dwindling funds only last long enough, my SI education will make me a rich man someday. And I will owe it all to SI.

Terp,

Standard SI speak/excuses on all threads include:

--"MM's are manipulating this."

--"This drop is a buying opportunity."

--"That analyst is over-rated."

--"Wall Street firms are always downgrading a stock when they want to buy more shares at a cheaper price."

--"Wall Street firms are always upgrading stocks when they want to dump their shares."
