Ibexx, I assume my less luminary position in your eyes is IOM? True
it has become a dud of late. Nonetheless I am staying with my small
position. The Zips are now regularly included as standard in
about 2/3 of new Compaq machines, they are also standard on many Apple
and Dell models. I am also looking forward to the release of the new
Clik drives in the next few months. They hold 40 MB in a 2 inch by 2
inch form factor disk and I think they will become the common
interchangeable, removeable media for digital cameras, laptops, PCs,
slide projectors, auto maps, glorified toasters, etc. The external
drive fits in the palm of your hand and will probably run on AA
batteries. OEM drives will be tiny. Rather than the Zip, I see the
Clik as the ubiquitous replacement for the 1.44 floppy disk.
I will wait and see despite the loss of popularity.
We all take a few "leaps" once in a while.

PS: My new gene probe technologies which allow single copy gene and
mutation detection in individual cells is now patent protected and
will soon become available for investor participation. Are you
interested in a real leap?
