No.. the data feed is not instant scanning feature. It's the upgrades/downgrades; earnings reports and news that comes through both reuters and Dow Jones all day. In the morning before the open there is usually about 10 or more companies that have been upgraded/downgraded before the open. In addition many new earnings have come out. This is what will be posted in the morning and throughout the day.

The scans are something else. They would give stocks that were not in my database but had come into play as a result of scanning the stock database in real time in the early morning, and throughout the day. There is nowhere to put those except either as possible picks in SI (as I did this morning) in the bulletin board (as I also did this morning). All this are the transitional steps before getting into a real-time trading forum.
