To All PRIDE holders or want-to-be's To buy and hold CD PRIDES is a long term investment and you all should know what you have bought. This is NOT an ordinary preferred share and there are things one should know, First - these shares a A- rated by S&P and there is every indication that they will be DOWNGRADED after earnings due 13 Aug. My personal feeling is that this news is already built into the shares, but could well be wrong, CD.I's are presently conv to 1.3514 shares of common and without a div. primimum, that gives a conv value of approx 20 bucks. All holders should contact company via "1-888-CENDANT" AND ASK FOR PROSPECTUS, get it , read it and understand it - this is NOT a straight "vanilla" investment. Not many folks understand these PRIDE's, if they did, these shares would soar with 30 year bond going down, - interest going down - a 12.5% interest payment looks better and better, besides the possible share appreciation as CD gets it's act together.

Benkea, I would like to know how long have you followed the PRIDES. 1st, I know what they are, but please define the acromym PRIDE and what does the FELINE mean???? 2nd, when CD originally crashed from 41 to 14 - common shares consolidated at 18 and drifted back to the 26 area til, extent of fraud became known. at 26 common, what did the PRIDES do ???? I can't find any charts on the PRIDES !!???? Does anyone have chart info on PRIDES ?????? PRIDES = preferred redeemable ?????? ??????? equities. Feline = ??????????? thx in advance
