Inge, you are welcome. I have not looked at SEV and do not know their financial state. The way to find out is to get onto edgar and look for the most recent s-3 or s-8 filings, the recent 10q might also have info. You look for the type of financing they have done recently, and when floorless are present, they often have to register the "future shares' (those that will result from the conversion).

Believe the answer is no.

We might be amazed to discover that oil exploration stocks that DON'T have floorless preferreds have declined lately too.

But, then, that could suggest that the real problem isn't the floorless issues at all but the price of what these companies look for -- oil.
